Who is Present Papa

Put simply, I’m a Husband & Father who is doing my best to develop into the partner my wife deserves and raise my boys to be the type of men the world needs while working on becoming that myself.

I’m Drew; Husband to Ashley (Yum) who owns Raising Our Rootz, and Father to Zavier Maverick (b. 2017) and Zeo Santo (b. 2019). Present Papa was born out of my personal journey into and through the early years of parenthood, the successes, failures, stresses, frustrations, along with several significant light bulb moments that opened my eyes to the lack of true support for new fathers. My goal with Present Papa is to provide fathers, and especially new fathers, with resources and a community of support to remind us that we are NOT alone and to learn from all of our collective experiences.

In the spirit of openness, and setting an example, a more detailed account of my own journey will be forthcoming.
